Volkswagen unveiled the new Passat 2020 at the North American International Auto Show.

Eight years ago, Volkswagen made major modifications to the mid-size sedan segment by adding more interior space and passenger comfort facilities as well as the uniqueness of the company providing the experience of driving pleasure.

Building on the massive success of this model, the new Passat delivers more impressive features: bolder design, more advanced technologies, and a lot of comfort equipment and driver assistance systems.

“Passat is the only mid-size sedan that provides German driving dynamics at a reasonable price, and its name is frequently echoed by customers thanks to its remarkable design that combines comfort, reliability and driving dynamics,” said Scott Cove, Volkswagen's North American CEO. With this new model, we have raised the standard of design and developed technology to make this car more attractive. In addition, we have provided a lot of innovative and attractive equipment for convenience and driver assistance.

Although Passat 2020 retains the basic features of the previous model, its design has been completely developed.

The slim LED headlights and taillamps come as standard equipment with the Passat logo accentuated across the width of the luggage compartment lid, giving the car a more elegant look. The standard 17-inch aluminum wheels further enhance the car's sophisticated design, and 18 and 19-inch wheels are also available.

It is also equipped with a new torque converter that delivers impressive performance thanks to new programs that boost the 207-foot-lap of torque (the improved launch model will carry the thrust and movement used in the previous model).
